My husband and I both needed new shoes( and since we are both seniors) our feet have changed and we needed some expert advice.Your store has so many choices and options! At first we were overwhelmed, but our salesperson Josie led us through a calm and easy process of elimination. She measured our feet and explained all our options-and always with a smile and unhurried. Even though it took a long time. We tried on lots of shoes and love our final choices. Everyone in this store was so friendly and competent, and we also appreciate your Veterans discount. We have recommended you to all our friends and family. What a great addition you are to our downtown Peoria!

We have been very pleased with the customer service (excellent) and quality of product. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. The “tournament of shoes” is a great way for my son to pick the best shoes. Gina was great!

Great experience at RCO! attended the Vintage your Kicks event with my girls, which was so much fun! Kelsey had great options available to level up our shoes from ribbon laces, beads, pins, and vintage pieces. I wear my shoes everywhere and am constantly complimented. While we were there, the girls (8 and 10) were fitted for running shoes. Ryan understood the assignment. He made them feel comfortable, honed in on their favorite colors (because that’s obviously how we buy shoes), and talked to the girls about fit and feel. We left with bags in hand excited for the upcoming cross country season!

The very best of many retail experiences I have had in a lonnnnng time !! The Retail Sales / Shor Specialist that helped me through the process today is 'John'. He is extremely helpful and VERY knowledgeable in what the store has to offer thee everyday person v.s. sports pros. He brought forth a few similar selections of the "Zero Drop" shoes for me to trial n error - AMAZING for sure ALL GRÉAT CHOICES, (but I had to choose only one. He helped me along in several other areas of concern in shoe size, type of shoes, and even some preventative measures for better and more comfortable fit(s). I will be needing to return a certain item due to an unforeseen and very unexplainable scenario and it was eplained to me about such returns. Thank you John, what a great help you were in the decion making process today.

I was taken here by my partner to get a quality pair of shoes for the gym. I'm pretty sure it was Ryan who helped us out and he was awesome! You could tell he was passionate & knowledgeable. I've never been fitted for shoes like this before and he made sure I got the pair that would be best suited to me. Thank y'all so much for your time and professionalism! Loving the Altras so far!!

Great first experience at RC Outfitters!! The workers are very kind. They are very willing to help, and immediately after I got there, one of the employees came over to help me. They don't try to push you to buy stuff. I needed new shoes, and they got me several different pairs that I was able to try on and walk around in. They did a really good job at helping me pick out the perfect shoe, and they really know what they are talking about when it comes to shoes and clothing. I will go back to RC Outfitters for any of my needs related to shoes or high quality clothing.

Wonderful fitting experience today for a new pair of XC shoes for our son. Mitch helped us, and was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We have made other purchases at RC Outfitters, but this was our first shoe experience and will definitely not be our last! Excellent personalized experience and cannot wait to bring our other kids in for shoes!

Fantastic service and selection. I needed running shoes but didn't know where to begin, as I haven't run in ages. A friend we were visiting recommended RC Outfitters. Oh mercy, the huge wall of shoes was intimidating. Fortunately, the staff there is wonderful. Jason was extremely helpful and kind, and knows his shows. He brought out several options that fit my wide toe bed and and worked with my gait, which he'd measured with their fancy machine. The options he brought were all good and it was easy to settle on the one that felt the best. Jason kindly offered to bring out all of its available colors in that same style, but I was happy with the robin's egg blue pair he'd originally served up. I'm extremely happy with the shoes. They're comfortable and stable, even on wonky pavement. When these wear out, I'll schedule another trip to Peoria to replace them.

Imagine this: It’s 2026 and you need a pair of every day shoes, you have some specific needs such as injuries and all the fun stuff that results from work and play. You go to a brick and mortar store and are helped by a person who proceeds to drop more informed knowledge on you about footwear than you could ever imagine. They help you try out a few styles & brands and you end up with a perfect fitting shoe that even reduces some of the aches and pains you walked in with. You promptly check out and are informed of the store’s reasonable return policy. You’re on your way, more educated and thrilled with the value you received. This was my experience. Thank you Mitchell and thank you RC Outfitters. What a great experience! I will tell everyone and I will be back for my next pair of shoes! Made my day! You can’t get this experience and value on Amazon.
